Introduction

Position: Full-time Native English Teacher
Start Date: March 2026
Location: CIS English Academy, Uijeongbu, South Korea


1.Salary

  • Base Salary: ?2.5M – ?3.0M per month (based on experience and teaching qualifications)

  • Additional incentives for:

    • TESOL / CELTA Certification

    • Degree in Education / English / Linguistics

    • Prior experience in Kindergarten or ESL Education

-CIS rewards teachers with strong classroom performance, reliability, and commitment.


2. Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday or based on assigned schedule (e.g., M/W/F or T/Th classes)

  • Regular working hours: MWF 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM 

                                                  T/Th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Prep time included within working hours

  • No weekend classes


3. Housing & Support

  • Fully furnished single housing provided

  • Housing allowance available for teachers who prefer to arrange their own accommodation (~400,000won)

  • Assistance with Alien Registration, Medical Check, and Opening Bank Account 


4. Benefits

  • Paid Vacation:

    • Summer: 7 days (weekday basis)

    • Winter: 7 days (weekday basis)

  • National Holidays fully observed

  • Health Insurance & Pension (50/50 contribution)

  • Severance Pay (1 month salary upon completion of 1-year contract)

  • Return airfare (Teachers choosing to return to their home country after completing the one-year contract may receive a return airfare.)
